Good to know: Introduced to France for sporting the last decade, nowadays it’s found though out the country. It’s the male Blackbass who, after the spawning, keeps jealously the eggs and ensures their survival ventilating them continuously.

Good to know: The female sturgeon will give caviar for a dozens of years. The high price of this food today come from the rareness today of this animal, once caught in great numbers.

Anecdote : La truite est un poisson qui a besoin d’eau très oxygénée. Si on la trouve généralement dans les sources des montagnes c’est que l’eau est froide, saine et avec du courant. Ces trois paramètres favorisent la création des molécules d’oxygène. La présence de ces poissons est donc significative d’une eau non polluée, on les appelle des bio-indicateurs.
